History
20 years of activities...
Founded in 1988 by ESSEC students who fell in love with China, ESSEC Chine is today one of the school's unavoidable international associations. It manages to bring together very diverse people around a common passion, from Chinese students to French- born Asians or simply any ESSEC student with an interest for this fascinating country and its culture's many facets.
Our goal
This year, on the verge of its 20th anniversary, ESSEC Chine is more than ever committed to its vocation of developing a lasting relationship between China and the ESSEC community. From this general goal ensues several missions which are:- To increase cultural and professional interactions between members of the ESSEC Community and China, which is accomplished through meetings with China-related professionals, conferences or weekly language exchanges.
- To promote Chinese culture at ESSEC by having Chinese New Year celebrations, photo exhibits, Chinese food stands, movie projections and many other cultural events on campus.
- To facilitate Chinese students'integration in the school as well as in France thanks to social gatherings, trips to nearby cities, monthly dinners in Paris...
- To expand and animate the large network of ESSEC alumni and ESSEC Chine members in China and throughout the world.
